Guwahati, Shillong and Cherrapunji Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Guwahati and immediately transfer to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. On the way, you can stop at Umiam Lake for beautiful photo opportunities. Check into your hotel in Shillong.
Day 2
Take a day trip from Shillong to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. You'll visit magnificent waterfalls like Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls, as well as the famous Mawsmai Cave.
Day 3
Explore the local attractions of Shillong, such as Shillong Peak for panoramic views, Elephant Falls, and Ward's Lake. You might also have the option to visit Mawlynnong, known as Asia's Cleanest Village, and the scenic Dawki River.
Day 4
After breakfast, travel back to Guwahati. Check into your hotel and spend the afternoon and evening visiting the Kamakhya Temple, enjoying a Brahmaputra River cruise, or exploring the local markets.
Day 5
After a final breakfast, you will be dropped off at Guwahati Airport or railway station for your departure.
